Two full days we had available to train the divers of the German military in the handling of their new underwater DPVs from BONEX. Two days for theory and practical training – two days for 2 x 5 participants: This can only work with meticulous planning, pre-briefing and highly motivated soldiers – that´s clear!
The BONEX team arrived with two instructors and splitted tasks and military team in two training groups. So the workshop could start in a nicely prepared classroom and with enough and strong coffee. The team explained, discussed, showed and performed to prepare the participants for the following day!
On the second day it got exciting and the divers could show what they remembered from the classroom. The weather on the Starnberger See was great and the whole team was looking forward to jump in the water. Every diver absolved two training dives and had to pass several exercises because DPV diving for the first time needs a bit training!. Our tips and tricks were effectuated immediately. This is how training makes fun!
